Education

I graduated from the University of South Dakota in 1996 with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and endorsements in Early Childhood/Coaching Gymnastics.
 

Teaching Experience

I did my student teaching at Parkston Elementary School in Parkston, SD in kindergarten and fourth grade. I also substitute taught in both the Parkston and Mitchell schools and was the assistant gymnastics coach for the Kernels in 1996-97.

My first teaching position began in Watertown, SD at Jefferson Elementary School. While teaching in Watertown I taught both first and second grade was the assistant gymnastics coach for the Arrows from 1997-2000.

I taught at Gertie Belle Rogers Elementary School for eight years, teaching fifth grade for two years and first grade for six years. This fall is my 12th year of teaching. I also was the head gymnastics coach for MHS from 2000-2004.

I am currently starting off my first year teaching in a multiage classroom with first and second at L.B. Williams.
